This is our spoof of news shows like Nightline. The host, played by Bill Moran, knows little and cares even less about the evening’s topic – cloning. He’d rather hit on one of the guests, played by Laura Carter. Rit plays the hapless scientist.

This too was used in the 2006 Tonight on the Radio promos.

Gorgon!

Here’s a blast from the past….the year was 1994.

Gorgon was our salute to the old movie serials of the 1930’s and 40’s. Although produced on video, we wanted to give the illusion that the sketch was shot on film so we added film scratches, dirt and jumping frames to the production.
The sketch, from the third season of Tonight @ 11:30, features Rit Carter as the evil Dr. Shandore and Mike Hand is his sidekick Plasma.

When originally aired the sketch included an introduction by “Count Bennie” the ill-tempered host of Mystery Lane a low-budget, late-night, local television show that was re-airing the “classic” Gorgon serials. But that intro is missing from this clip.
