Richard Pryor

John Belushi as Joe Cocker
Posted in Live Performance with tags impressions, Joe Cocker, John Belushi, Lemmings, Little Help From My Friends, live music, Lonely at the Bottom, National Lampoon, Saturday Night Live, SNL, Woodstock on October 5, 2008 by michaelkhillThis clip from the 1973 National Lampoon “Lemmings” Roadshow is a real gem.
It features John Belushi (just before he would become a superstar on Saturday Night Live) performing as Joe Cocker. It’s a testament to Belushi’s skill as a singer (have you ever tried to do that voice?) as well as his gift for physical humor.
If you want to see just how much Belushi nails this impression, here is the real Joe Cocker from Woodstock, 1969.
